Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Niharika Bhawan, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Please read it carefully before confirming your booking.

⚠️ Important: All cancellation requests must be communicated directly to us via WhatsApp at +91 76909 40051. The cancellation date is counted from the time we receive and acknowledge your cancellation message.

1. Room Booking Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation terms apply to all room bookings at Niharika Bhawan:

Between 24 and 72 hours before check-in 50% Refund
Less than 24 hours before check-in No Refund
No-show (guest does not arrive) No Refund

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The refund will be returned to the same payment method or account used for the original payment. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Peak Season & Festival Periods

During peak pilgrimage seasons, major festivals, and holidays (such as Navratri, Diwali, New Year, and other high-demand periods), stricter cancellation terms may apply. These will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking confirmation.

2. Helicopter & Ropeway Booking Cancellation

Niharika Bhawan assists guests with helicopter and ropeway bookings as an authorized agent. The cancellation and refund policy for these services is governed by the official service operators, not by Niharika Bhawan.

ℹ️ Please Note: Refunds for helicopter and ropeway services depend entirely on the cancellation policy of the respective official operator at the time of booking. We will communicate the applicable terms clearly when we confirm your service booking.

3. How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your booking:

Verbal or informal cancellations are not valid. Cancellations must be acknowledged by us via WhatsApp to be considered confirmed.

4. Early Departure

If a guest checks out earlier than their confirmed checkout date, the unused nights will be treated as a late cancellation (less than 24 hours) and will not be eligible for a refund, unless the early departure is due to a verified emergency. This is at the sole discretion of management.

5. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or official closure of the Vaishno Devi Yatra route — we will do our best to offer rescheduling or a full refund. Such situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Modifications to Booking

If you wish to modify your booking (change dates, room type, or number of guests), please contact us on WhatsApp as early as possible. Modifications are subject to availability and may result in a change in pricing. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.
