1. About Us
Niharika Bhawan is a privately owned and operated guesthouse located at Main Market, Prashar Gali, Katra, Jammu & Kashmir 182301. We have been in operation since 1988 and provide accommodation and ancillary services to pilgrims and travellers visiting Mata Vaishno Devi.
2. Booking Process
All bookings at Niharika Bhawan are made directly through WhatsApp (+91 76909 40051) or by phone. We do not operate an automated online booking or payment system. A booking is considered confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us via WhatsApp.
- Enquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking.
- Room availability is subject to change until a booking is confirmed by us in writing.
- Final pricing and room type are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Prices displayed on this website are indicative and may vary during peak seasons, festivals, and holidays.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-In Time: 12:00 PM (noon)
- Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for all adult guests (as per local government regulations).
4. Guest Conduct
- Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests and staff at all times.
- Loud music, disturbance, or any activity that disrupts other guests is not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted in any indoor areas of the property.
- Consumption of alcohol is subject to the laws of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Visitors who are not registered guests are not permitted in rooms without prior approval from management.
- Niharika Bhawan reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate the property immediately if they violate these conduct rules, without refund.
5. Payments
- Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation via WhatsApp.
- Accepted payment methods will be shared at the time of booking.
- We do not accept payments through the website. All payments are handled directly and offline.

7. Helicopter & Ropeway Booking Services
Niharika Bhawan assists guests in booking helicopter and ropeway services to Mata Vaishno Devi as an authorized agent. Please note:
- These services are operated by third-party service providers, not by Niharika Bhawan directly.
- Availability, pricing, and schedules are determined by the official operators and may change without notice.
- Niharika Bhawan is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes made by the official operators.
- Refunds for helicopter or ropeway bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective official operator.
- We do our best to facilitate smooth bookings, but we cannot guarantee availability at all times, especially during peak seasons.
8. Liability
- Niharika Bhawan is not responsible for loss of personal belongings during your stay. Guests are advised to keep valuables secure.
- We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Our liability in any case is limited to the amount paid for the room booking.
